The Leaderboard ranks the YouTube creators that AI engines cite most in your Share of Model projects. It shows you which creators already shape what AI assistants say about your category, so you can choose partners based on their influence with AI audiences, not just subscriber counts. The creators AI trusts most aren’t always the ones with the biggest audiences. A creator with a small channel can be cited more often than a big one.

How creators get into the Leaderboard

  1. Share of Model collects AI answers for the prompts in your projects.
  2. Every time an answer cites a YouTube video, the video is linked to its channel.
  3. YouTube data (subscribers, engagement, location and so on) is added to each channel.
  4. Each creator gets an Influence Score: their share of the YouTube citations in your selection. The more often AI engines cite a creator’s videos, the higher the score.
Scores update as new citations are collected.

Filter the Leaderboard

Use the filter bar at the top of the page. The same filters apply to every tab in YouTube Creator Partnerships. Click Reset Filters to go back to the default view. The ranking and scores are recalculated whenever you change a filter.

2 ways to view the Leaderboard

Tier view

Creators are grouped by audience size into four tiers: Nano, Micro, Mid-Tier and Macro. Within each tier, creators are ranked by Influence Score. Use this view to compare creators of a similar size. For example, find the most influential Micro creators for a local or niche partnership. Click More creators to see more creators in a tier.

List view

All creators in one ranked list. Use Display by to switch between:
  • Creators: one row per channel, ranked by Influence Score
  • Videos: one row per cited video, so you can see which pieces of content get cited most

View a creator’s profile

Click a creator to open their profile. You’ll see:
  • Identity: channel description and country
  • Audience: subscribers and tier
  • Performance: Influence Score, likes, comments and engagement rate
  • Content: the topics they cover most often
  • Cited videos: the creator’s videos that AI engines cite in your projects
From a cited video, you can run a Video Content Analysis to understand why it gets cited.

FAQ

Why is a small creator ranked above a big one? The ranking is based on how often AI engines cite a creator’s videos, not on audience size. A small, specialised channel can be one of AI’s most trusted sources on a topic. What does the percentage next to a creator mean? It’s the creator’s Influence Score: their share of all the YouTube citations that match your filters. Why don’t I see any creators? No YouTube videos were cited in AI answers for your current filters. Try a different period, or select more AI engines, projects or brands. How often is the data updated? Scores update as new AI answers are collected in your projects. YouTube channel data is refreshed regularly.
