What is Share Of Model
Share Of Model is a Brandtech product that measures how brands and domains appear inside answers generated by AI models — ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, LLaMA, and more. As large language models reshape how people search, shop, and form opinions, classic SEO metrics no longer cover the full picture. Share Of Model gives marketing, brand, and SEO teams a way to track AI visibility the same way they track organic search: with metrics, benchmarks, and trends across models and competitors.What it measures
The platform turns LLM answers into quantifiable signals across three dimensions:- Visibility — how often and how prominently your brand or domain shows up in AI-generated answers (presence rate, visibility score, average position).
- Perception — how LLMs describe your brand: strengths, weaknesses, sentiment, and the attributes most associated with you and your competitors.
